West Herr dealership told my son our Toyota Camry did not pass inspection because the emergency brake cable was frozen. There was nothing wrong with the cable. I took it for a test drive and engaged the parking brake. The rear wheels locked up and the car skidded to a stop. Every year we have the vehicle rustproofed which lubricates the brake cables. Clearly there was nothing wrong with the emergency brake system, although they wanted to charge $1,500 to fix the so called problem. Been to service department 4 times in the past 3 years. Service has been a little better than first 3 times I have been there. All service writers need to be a little more friendly when dealing with customers in early morning. My service writer was good today

I got all pads put on front and back . That did it in 45 minutes! Amazing! They had extra guys because it was slow being winter time or just slow . I was told there was 3 guys working on my RAV 4 . I was still charged $340 for labor . . I understand that there is a rate for a brake job with one guy but they could give me a break on labor if there was 3 guys doing it . Thanks Mike Mahoney
Pre-sale RAV4. Very disappointing experience. They were disrespectful and dismissive to my daughter, and I ultimately had to intervene. I’ve purchased vehicles for 35 years and visited as a former Vanderstyne Toyota customer. The lack of professionalism toward a younger woman who was clearly prepared to buy was unacceptable. I recommend going to Bob Johnson Rochester Toyota instead. The Josh Allen ads don’t excuse poor customer treatment.
Tom and Mimi brought paperwork and the new car to my house. Mimi very methodically walked me through the various signature pages explaining what was significant about it and digitally got my contract signed which I couldn’t have done on my own. She also connected my wife’s and my cell phones to the Toyota app and demonstrated the various features. Excellent professional !

I've bought my share of personal vehicles over the decades, and my experiences with dealers have been positive for the most part, with a few spectacular failures here and there. This was my first visit to West Herr Toyota of Rochester, but it won't be my last. I was satisfied with every aspect of my transaction with them, particularly with my sales consultant, Joseph Capozzi, whose transparency and professionalism was both welcome and appreciated.

West Herr Toyota, Greece Ny was exceptional from checking-in, scheduling the shuttle & servicing my vehicle My 2025 Grand Hylander was being serviced for a high pitch whistle coming from the moon roof. After reading on line reviews, I was concerned I’d receive the same run around. I am pleased to say, I did not and Derek requested my video and the technician inspected my vehicle. Although, the part is on backup, I feel confident West Herr will repair the moonroof better than new. If anyone is having the same issue, go to another Toyota dealership.

Hi, I would not recommend this dealer at this time. I took my truck in for its annual service. The service advisor was good. I had to have oil change, NYS inspection and Regular look everything over inspection with tire rotation. Also fix a slow air leak in drivers' side rear tire. Went to dealership to inquire what new or low mileage Highlanders were available. After salesperson Lorie performed a search, only 1 Highlander was available of what options I was looking for. It was scheduled to be built in 1 month, so I put a deposit on it. It was delivered approximately 1 month later. Lorie was pleasant to work with, as well with the Finance Manager and Customer Care Manager. Not sure if I received the best deal possible considering I wasn't planning on buying , but probably did OK
